  idpeaks xpeaks-filename ypeaks-filename [-order= integer] [-draw_input= xfilename, yfilename]

• description:
  idpeaks takes two files giving the locations of spectral peaks for a two dimensional coupled oscillator[5] and identifies the peaks as resonances of the form where i, j, and k are integers. It is assumed that the values of and are given by the highest peaks in the respectively files.
• files:
  xpeaks-filename and ypeaks-filename are mpl-format files containing (tune, amplitude) pairs for spectral peaks.
• options:

  order

  
  Specifies the maximum value of the order, k, of the resonances that will be considered.

  resolution

  
  Specifies how close must be to k for the program to consider the peak as identified.

  draw_input

  
  Specifies the names of two files into which will be placed draw commands for labeling the frequency spectra with the resonance line identifications. draw is a graphics interpreter that incorporates mpl as a subprogram.
