  setlog inputfile1 inputfile2 outputfile {-intersection | -union | -anti_intersection} [-x_tolerance= value] [-y_tolerance= value] [-format=" format-string"]

• description:
  setlog performs set logic on two data sets. For example, setlog will find all the data points in one data set but not the other, or all the data points in both sets. User-specified tolerances are accepted to determine when two points are ``the same."

  intersection, anti_intersection

  
  Requests finding of the intersection of two data sets or its complement, respectively.

  union

  
  Requests finding of the union of two data sets. One may also use combine and qsort -unique to perform this function.

  x_tolerance, y_tolerance

  
  These options specify tolerances for the abscissae and ordinate values. If both the abscissae and ordinates of two points are within the relevant tolerance, the points are considered identical. The default value is 0 for both tolerances.

  format

  
  Specifies a C-style format string for printing the data to the output file.
