  expfit inputfile [-sample_interval= integer] [-clue={grows | decays}] [-guess= a0,a1,a2] [-tolerance= value] [-fit_output= filename] [-difference_output= filename] [-verbosity= level]

• description:
  expfit fits a curve of the form , providing evaluation of the fit and difference output.
• files:
  inputfile contains the data set to be fit.
• options:

  sample_interval

  
  Specifies an integer interval for sampling inputfile.

  clue

  
  Provides a clue to expfit that the exponential is growing or decaying.

  guess

  
  Specifies starting values for the three coefficients of the fit.

  tolerance

  
  Specifies the maximum acceptable RMS deviation of the fit from the data.

  fit_output

  
  Specifies the name of file in which will be placed the values of the fit at the abscissae of the input data.

  difference_output

  
  Specifies the name of file in which will be placed the differences between values of the fit and the input data values.

  verbosity

  
  Specifies the level of output during fitting. A higher integer level results in more output.
