1.6 Changes to Related Programs and Files
The elegant distribution includes many programs and scripts that perform computations with elegant
output data, provide interfaces with other programs, or prepare data for use with elegant. These are
listed in Section 11.
Changes to these tools in this release include
- The program computeLBGGE was added, which implements the local generalized gradient
expansion method developed by D. Sagan et al. [3]. It is slower but provides much better fits
than computeRBGGE, although the latter is able to work with boundary data only.
- The program sddsanalyzebeam now optionally computes the eigen-emittances and coupled
lattice functions for the particle distribution.
